I Totally Dropped Off The Face Of The Earth...

I have been sick since Monday....what a way to end the weekend! I have been preserving my strength because you all are needy bitches sucking the life out of me with your internet journal entries about your grandma's favorite wig and all (its the drugs talking folks).

No! I keed. I've been out of commission on all things internets so I can sleep and recoup in an effort to be ready for my third weekend of birthday celebrations. This time the craziness will be contained in a cabin in the woods of the Shenandoah Valley. Maxie's coming because she's awesome. So is the other BFF, Metaltits, the big sis and her mans and an old friend from college that I haven't seen in five friggin' years. I'll be back soon my pretties with stories and epics worthy of another Jonzed contest. I leave you with some photos of the cabin.

Jealous?? Good, you should be.

I've been seriously slacking in blog world too... I dunno what's up with me.

I can't wait for this weekend! it's going to be a blast :-)

will you email me your cell phone number so that I have it... I know we don't get great cell service, but I just realized I never put it in my phone.

You should be careful in cabins that are all alone in the middle of the woods.

Just sayin...

I've seen how this type of thing plays out.

Hey DMB,

I have been checking out your blog (along with thousands of others) for a good while now; and I want you to know that your content is a beacon in a sea of mediocrity. In light of this, I think you'd dig this project, designed to help tastemakers like yourself build a bigger following.

At the simplest level, it allows you to share and embed collections of products and videos across the web, making it possible to spread your discoveries further and wider than a blog alone. It also puts you in front of an audience numbering in the hundreds of thousands, all foaming at the mouth for the goods you share in each your posts.

It's nice and interactive too, with the classics like comments and a few originals that get you closer to your fans. Nas, Neyo, and the Cashmere Agency have joined us, though I’d like to support grassroots indie voices like your own.

To show you how serious I am, I've taken a minute to throw together a playlist of my favorite posts of yours.

http://www.redux.com/ir/c512/playlist/dmb

Check it out, hit me up with your questions, and looking forward to hearing what you think.

Cheers,
Andy

P.S. Get well soon...

I'm mostly jealous that you have a friend named Metaltits.

Movies have convinced me that cabins are always where creepy guys in hockey masks are, so I tend to stay away from them. But here's hoping movies' versions of the number of murderous weirdos in the woods and nature are greatly exaggerated.
